Post a secrets and save lives …

The Postsecret Site is super addictive and apparently life changing. After reading this one the following lines were send in:

I have been struggling with suicide ideation for the last several months, to the point that I just needed to figure out how to do it ‘just right’, I guess I wanted it to be beautiful and poignant. The line of that poem “there are no beautiful suicides” is enough to convince me this life, as hard as it is, is worth living.

Very strong. I wanted to endorse this wholeheartedly to get a Bloggy award (which they have won, best new blog), but looking a bit closer into it, they have crippled the blogging functionality. There is no link to previous posts on their site.

After a week the cards are gone. O.K. there is the RSS feed, but that doesn’t last forever either.  I know Frank, the postsecret poster, wants to sell his books, bring out new ones,  be syndicated all over the world in “wanna be” hip weeklies, but Dilbert is doing the same very successfully and still has archives of his comics available. Lame Frank lame.
