After the comments and email requests for the Stormy Picture I checked with my sister and it turns out she didn’t take it. She never claimed she had and it was just a wrong assumption on my side. The one to the left was taken during the same storm at the office where she is working, but not the breathtaking one. She got it in an email that was forwarded already a couple of times with no reference to the photographer.
I spend two hours today to find the origin of the picture, but came up empty handed. Neither Google or Lycos image search, nor did the Sydney Morning Herald deliver any storm pictures.
I really would love to credit the original photographer by linking to him/her. I would also pay a couple of dollars for the privilege to show it on my blog, but now I am stuck. If anybody finds the source, please let me know. Thanks.
