Give me hope …

A picture named mattbuttonsmall.gifI got a sausage today at Rosamunde’s sausage grill in the Lower Haight, highly recommended. I have not been in that corner of the city in a while, but Gonzales endorsement where there all over the place, which made me hopeful.

Hopeful, until I talked to the doorman of the Hotel Utah later in the evening and he told me that the black vote is going towards Gaven Newsom. He said that at the Hunters Point Shipyards there are Gaven Newsom posters all over the place and in every window, which totally surprised me, after all he is the guy behind the cruel Care not Cash program.

The doorman also told me that they are paying $10 to the homeless if they get people to vote for Newsom and apparently they are running around with sandwich boards for him, which is so  bizarre.

They say, that San Francisco voted 80% against the Governator. Please prove to me that I am wrong with my suspicion, that San Francisco is not that progressive anymore. Give me hope, go out and vote for Matt Gonzales on the 6th of December. Let’s turn the tide.
