Melanie and Tanja my two Nieces are at my parents in Germany today. On the phone they told me about their Easter egg hunt. Brought back great childhood memories. It was often the first warm Sunday, which felt great after a cold Winter. You would breath in the air and everyone was happy.
After 40 days of lent you were so looking forward to the afternoon ‘Kaffee und Kuchen’ with Linzertorte and whipped cream. I remember that I was proud for not having eaten any sweets before Easter. This year I was too busy to even think about something to give up during Lent. So no feeling of accomplishment today, but there is always next year.
