If you have your own domain name Google offers a free SiteSearch service. I copied the code onto my site just to find out that the last post that they have indexed on my site is back from January. :-(
No one should say there is now competition to Google. Check out the results at Teoma.com there they show a weblog entry from early March.
Because of these bad results I added the service only at the total bottom of this pages. If they improve I may put it higher, but so far it is useless.
