MoveOn called for a Bake back the White House sale and thousands heard the message and came out. Here is a San Jose Mercury article about it.
All smiles at the one in Bernal Heights. Not that Kerry has sold me on his politics, I am actually afraid a bit, that it will be the flip side of the same coin, but I love this event because it brought people out and together in their local area: “So I am living over there since 4 years.” “Yes and I am over there at the park.” This is I hope were the change will happen. People realizing that they can make a difference by getting together, making their voice heard and having fun doing it.
Loved it, drove to Dolores Park two, where there were at least three bake sales. Encouraging.
